This agreement (the agreement) is concluded between La Cache à Maxime (the issuer) and you, and sets out the terms and conditions governing the use of gift certificates (gift packages). The purchase and use of the gift certificate implies the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated in this agreement, as may be amended at any time without notice.
Sold solely on www.lacacheamaxime.com website, the gift certificate is a certificate with a value in reserve and cannot be recharged with additional funds. The gift certificate from La Cache à Maxime is redeemable exclusively at La Cache à Maxime in exchange for accommodation, catering, or other accommodation packages. They must beforehand be exchanged at the hotel’s front desk. These can be converted in exchange of a gift card applicable in the C Hotels chain. Not applicable at Noah Spa.
For packages including catering, the gratuity on the meals are included (15% service charge). The conditions for the type of accommodation and validity are listed on the gift package. The gift package is not redeemable for cash or refundable. The supplement is payable to the hotel for any changes on the accommodation or validity.
Gift certificates and gift packages are not refundable nor exchangeable and are an outright sale.
Prices are starting at, per person in double occupancy. For packages including catering, the gratuity on the meals is included (15% service charge). Supplements on Saturdays. Certain conditions apply. Reservation required at least 7 days in advance. Resale prohibited. The prices on packages may be higher than the base price to allow holders to benefit of the packages in high season.
When purchasing the gift certificate, the available balance will be the activated value of the gift certificate. The initial available balance will have to be used entirely at the time of the transaction. The balance is not refundable nor exchangeable against credit or money. When the balance will be equal to zero, the gift certificate will no longer be valid and any transaction will be denied.
The gift certificate has no expiration date. However, according to the Consumer Protection Act, after 24 months of inactivity, some fees of $2.50/ month will be automatically deducted from the balance of the gift certificate.
For a transaction exceeding the available balance on a gift card, you may combine the use of the C Hotels gift certificate or another payment method accepted by La Cache à Maxime.

If a gift certificate or gift package is lost or has been stolen, you may ask a replacement in condition to provide the original receipt and the number associated with lost or stolen certificate. A replacement gift certificate will be activated to the amount of the available balance of the certificate at the time of replacement. A $10.00 service fees, plus applicable taxes, will be charged for the issuance of the replacement gift certificate and reduced electronically off the available gift certificate balance. The request for a replacement gift certificate may be refused if the staff carrying out the demand study concludes, in its absolute and sole discretion, that the issuance of replacement gift certificate has a suspicious or fraudulent activity or even an unacceptable risk. In no event will La Cache à Maxime be held responsible for a fraudulent use of a lost or stolen gift certificate. La cache à Maxime reserves the right to cancel the validity of a certificate used and/or acquired in a fraudulently manner.
