  • What are your reservation and cancellation policies?

    CANCELLATION AND/OR MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION POLICY

    HOTEL

    More than 48 hours before arrival:
    ▪ No cancellation fees
    ▪ Possibility of changing the date according to the rates in force.
    Less than 48 hours before arrival:
    ▪ The equivalent of the first night will be charged to the credit card left as a guarantee
    ▪ No possibility of changing the date.

    CHALET

    More than 30 days before arrival:
    ▪ Cancellation fee of $100 + taxes non-refundable.
    ▪ Possibility of changing the date and/or chalet according to the rates in force.
    Less than 30 days before arrival:
    ▪ The deposit paid is non-refundable.
    ▪ No possibility to change the date and/or chalet.

    NB: No cancellation fee is applicable in the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of making the reservation.
    Reasons for cancellation: La Cache à Maxime disclaims all liability arising from a cancellation regardless of the reason and/or the reason: weather conditions, power failure, road conditions, natural disasters, illness, death, or others.

    CANCELLATION POLICY - prepaid rate

    Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation within 24 hours of confirmation of the
    booking. It is not possible to modify or cancel this reservation.

  • What are the terms and conditions of your cottage rental?

    La cache à Maxime is committed to providing a memorable experience to its customers who reside in one of its magnificent chalets. To do this, we would like to state some of our cottage rental policies.

    General regulations

    This is first notice. Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional costs or eviction without a refund.

    • Fireworks and sky lanterns are prohibited on the site.
    • Outdoor campfires are authorized in fireplaces provided for this purpose.
    • Various holidays, excessive noise, music, etc .: A curfew is required at 11:00 p.m. A complaint requiring compensation to the complainant will be the responsibility of the culprits. Outdoor music is prohibited at all times. It is your responsibility to notify the establishment if you are hosting a reception at the chalet with or without a visitor.
    • If there are more than 12 people in the chalet during an evening, an additional charge of four hundred and fifty dollars ($450) will be charged.
    • Due to our operations, it is forbidden to install a tent, tent-roulette, trailer, RV, marquee, inflatable games or various games (example: volleyball net) on the site.
      The consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited on the site outside La cache à Maxime.
    • Our chalets are designed to accommodate a maximum of 6 people. La cache à Maxime is released from all responsibilities in the event of accidents, injuries, breakage, or fire due to overcapacity. In the event of breakage, the costs associated with the repairs as well as the estimated loss of income will be the responsibility of the customer at fault.
    • Be 21 years of age and over to rent a cottage. At least 1 adult aged 21 and over must be on-site at all times during the stay.
    • Lost/forgotten items La cache à Maxime is not responsible for lost/forgotten or stolen items in a chalet and/or in public areas. Items found will be kept for a maximum of 3 months. It is your responsibility to come and collect the claimed/found items or to pay the transport costs. La cache à Maxime will send you information related to transportation costs when the item is claimed.

    Pets

    Dogs are accepted in certain cabins only, with applicable fees. You must notify the staff when booking or before your arrival.

    • Dogs must have clipped claws
    • Feces must be collected at all times and in all places, whether at the cottage or in public areas (indoor-outdoor)
    • It is forbidden to leave an animal unattended inside the chalet
    • Use of the cage is required
    • Avoid excessive barking
    • Animals must be kept tethered at all times on the chalet property and in public places


    Responsibilities:


    Any animal in the chalet will be the responsibility of the tenant. Damage caused by an animal inside or outside the chalets will be charged to you.

    Please note that La cache à Maxime employees can come to the chalet without notice. Please keep your pets tied to avoid uncontrollable situations that could hurt someone, regardless of your pet's usual temperament.

    Housekeeping service

    Please note that no housekeeping service during your stay is offered. Our housekeeping team will take care of the cleaning upon your departure.
    Charges apply for cleaning during the stay. Check with a customer service agent for the charges.

    Departure instructions

    • Start the dishwasher with the dishes and utensils used before you leave the chalet.
    • Clean the BBQ as you go
    • Place all waste in the outdoor bin provided for this purpose.
    • Leave the chalet in order, replace the furniture (interior and exterior) in the same way as when you arrived.
    • Turn off the lights, close the windows and lock the doors.
    • Return the keys to the hotel reception upon departure. If not returned, a fee of $ 30 / key will be charged.
    • Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to additional charges which will be charged to your final invoice.
  • What are the terms of payment for a cottage rental?

    HOTEL & CHALETS

    30% when booking. Final balance on arrival.

    SECURITY DEPOSIT

    A valid credit card and photo ID are required upon check-in.

    Upon arrival, a security deposit corresponding to 130% of your stay is temporarily pre-authorized not charged by credit card only for a limited time. A portion of this deposit will be used to settle the balance of your bill at the end of your stay, after cleaning and inspection of the unit. In the event of a breach of general regulations or breakage of any kind (although it is accidental), the security deposit is kept during the period of management of your file. We will then send you a detailed invoice by email or post.

    Note, you must allow 5 to 7 working days for it to be released by your financial institution.

  • When can we check-in?

    From 4 p.m. Departure is scheduled for 12 noon.

  • Are your hotel rooms and cottages non-smoking?

    Yes, all of our rooms and chalets are non-smoking, without exception. A penalty will be charged if this is not respected.

  • Do we need to bring our bedding / towels / dishes / toilet paper?

    CHALETS

    No. All our chalets are fully equipped. All you have to do is bring your food and your belongings. A bath towel and a washcloth (hand towel) is provided for each person for the stay. Bring your beach towels. Our cabins offer a dishwasher and a washer-dryer. Laundry detergent is not provided, however.

    Bedding, bath towels, and toilet paper are provided in our suites.

  • Can we bring our pet?

    Dogs are accepted in some chalets. Maximum of 2 dogs per stay.
    Additional housekeeping charges apply.
    The fees are $ 25 + tax per night per animal.
    Cats are not accepted in our chalets.

    Pets are not accepted in our hotel rooms.

  • Where are you located?

    We are located at 265 rue Drouin in Scott in Beauce.

    We are approximately 20 minutes south of the Quebec bridges, at exit 101 of highway 73.

  • How do we get to your hotel complex?

  • Is there internet access or cellphone reception onsite?

    Our hotel and our chalets offer free wifi access.

    You can also come to the hotel lobby to connect to our wifi network.

  • We are a group, can we stay in your village?

    Yes of course! Whether it is a group of friends, family or corporate. Like families and couples, groups must abide by resort rules regarding noise, safety, and respect for others.

  • Is there a restaurant inside the hotel?

    Yes, the Resto-Bar d'La cache welcomes you for meals in the dining room, morning, noon, and evening. Also, discover our room service meals.

  • Is there a BBQ at the cottage?

    Yes. Moreover, cooking utensils and propane are supplied for the duration of your stay.

  • Are firewood and kindling included?

    Wood for outdoor campfires is not included in the rental of your chalet. You can get them at the hotel reception. ($)

  • Is there a pool?

    Access to the hotel swimming pool is allowed free of charge, for our hotel accommodation and chalet guests. It is heated, and available during 3 seasons spring, summer, fall.

  • Are kids welcome?

    Yes! A game module is available for them in the vineyard. They have access to the heated outdoor swimming pool under adult supervision. A list of family activities is available on our website according to each season.

  • Extra bed

    The hotel and the chalets do not have an extra bed. Each chalet has a sofa bed, and some rooms in the hotel have a sofa bed.

  • Where do we check-in?

    Check-in for reservations for hotel rooms and chalets is at the hotel lobby.

  • Are there supermarkets nearby?

    Yes, 15 minutes by car, in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce. Otherwise a Shell convenience store is located in Scott Village, 2 minutes from the hotel.

  • Are there charging stations for electric cars?

    In the parking lot next to the hotel there are 2 charging stations for electric cars as well as 2 Tesla charging stations.
