CHECK-IN POLICY - COTTAGES AND HOTEL ROOMS
When you arrive, it will be important to follow the directions to the reception to complete your check-in.
The lobby is open from Sunday to Thursday from 8 AM to 9 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 10 PM. If you plan to arrive after closing time, please contact us to make an arrangement. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book accommodations.
SECURITY DEPOSIT - COTTAGES AND HOTEL ROOMS
Upon arrival, a security deposit is temporarily pre-authorized not charged by credit card only for a limited time: $200 for a hotel room, $750 for the cottage and chalets for 6 or 8 people. $1250 for the cottage for 10 people.
This security deposit serves as a guarantee for all services, amenities, and activities offered on the premises of La cache à Maxime, whether inside or outside the hotel and public areas. The security deposit will be released after cleaning and inspection of the rental unit. In the event of a breach of general regulations or breakage of any kind, although it is accidental, the security deposit is kept during the period of management of your file. Once the billable amount has been established, a copy of the invoice will be emailed to you. If necessary, the deposit will be used to pay the balance of your bill at the end of your stay. Note, you must allow 5 to 7 working days for it to be released by your financial institution.

American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.
Some prepaid credit cards are also accepted.
Payment by debit card accepted on site for payment of the balance, but not eligible for the security deposit.
CANCELLATION AND/OR RESERVATION MODIFICATION POLICY - COTTAGES
More than 30 days before arrival:
▪ Cancellation fee of $100 + taxes non-refundable.
▪ Possibility of changing the date and/or chalet according to the rates in force.
Less than 30 days before arrival:
▪ The deposit paid is non-refundable.
▪ No possibility to change the date and/or chalet.
NB: No cancellation fee is applicable in the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of making the reservation.
Reasons for cancellation: La cache à Maxime disclaims all liability arising from a cancellation regardless of the reason and/or the reason: weather conditions, power failure, road conditions, natural disasters, illness, death, or others.
CANCELLATION AND/OR RESERVATION MODIFICATION POLICY - HOTEL ROOMS
More than 72 hours before arrival (before 4 p.m.):
▪ No cancellation fees
▪ Possibility to change the date and/or room according to current rates.
Less than 72 hours before arrival (before 4 p.m.):
▪ $100 penalty/night/room
▪ No possibility to change the date and/or room
+ health care costs, if applicable.
Less than 48 hours before arrival (before 4 p.m.):
▪ The full amount of your stay will be charged to the credit card left as a guarantee.
▪ No possibility to change the date and/or room

For group reservations not linked to an event contract:
30 days before arrival date:
▪ The full amount of your stay will be charged to the credit card left as a guarantee.

CANCELLATION POLICY – hotel prepaid rate
Your credit card will be charged for the total amount of the reservation within 24 hours of confirmation of the reservation. It is not possible to modify or cancel this reservation.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations when it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or in other circumstances where it appears that reservations contain or result from an error.
RENTAL CONDITIONS
Failure to comply with these conditions will result in additional costs and/or expulsion without refund. The penalty is fixed according to the case. This is your notice.
